Application, Deposits, Lodging and Payment:
Confirmations will be sent to accepted applicants on April 8, 2018 and a non-refundable deposit in the amount of $500 will be due upon acceptance, but no later than April 13, to hold your spot. Accepted applicants that fail to pay the deposit by April 13 will forfeit their spot to those applicants on a wait-list lottery that will open April 14, 2018.
Your deposit payment will also secure your lodging preference. Lodging pricing is tiered and there are limited options of each type available. Lodging will be assigned first come, first served. If the lodging you select is "out of stock" that means it is full and you will need to choose a different type of lodging. Please scroll to the bottom of the page for detailed lodging information and pricing.
The balance of the retreat tuition (which is based on the lodging type you selected) must be paid no later than July 27, 2018. You will receive an email reminder with a link to pay the remaining balance. Accepted applicants that fail to pay the balance of the tuition by July 27, 2018 will forfeit their $500 deposit and their spot to attend the retreat to those applicants on the waitlist. Applicants on the waitlist who are notified that they have become eligible to attend the retreat before April 13th must pay the non-refundable $500 deposit within 48 hours of notification of eligibility by Wilder. Applicants on the waitlist who are notified that they have become eligible to attend the retreat on or after April 13, 2018 must pay the full tuition amount within 24 hours of notification of eligibility by Wilder.
All sales are final and payments are subject to the cancellation and refund policy below.
Cancellation and Refund Policy (Sep 28 - Oct 1, 2018 Retreat)
No, don't cancel! But seriously, we do understand that sometimes, things happen. Your deposit is non-refundable, but after paying in-full we will refund you the remainder if you notify us in writing with proof of receipt by Wilder on or before August 28, 2018 that you must cancel. After August 28, 2018, we regret that no refund is available. Please know that your retreat fee MAY NOT be transferred to another participant or credited to a future retreat. There are no refunds for no shows, early departures, or unused services.
Creekside A-Frame Cabins (18 total spots available):
These airy A-frame cabins are simple, clean, and perfectly suited to a communal Wilder retreat experience. Each one features a sleeping loft, livingroom/work area, kitchenette, bathroom with shower, wood stove, and a porch overlooking the creek. Standard cabin design includes two beds downstairs in the space that serves as a shared living space during the day, and two beds in the loft. Capacity is 2-4 guests per cabin.
Retreat price including shared Creekside A-Frame lodging is $1850
Tamarack Hall (20 total spots available):
Designed to be a space for artists to have both private and communal space, Tamarack Hall features hotel-like accommodations with shared but private bathrooms, and shared kitchenette, laundry facilities, and a central meeting room with a large fire place. There are 20 private bedrooms, each with one queen-sized bed.
